Interlocking Concrete Blocks

Upland Ready Mix is the largest producer of interlocking concrete blocks on the North Island. Concrete blocks are growing in popularity, as they are extremely versatile, easy to install, and exceedingly durable. Concrete blocks are used extensively in the agriculture and aquaculture industries; as well as, in the construction industry for earth retention and material storage.

Our interlocking block design consists of a pyramid shaped keyway which locks each block together and resists horizontal loading.

Standard dimensions of a regular block are 5 feet (60 inches) long by 2.5 feet (30 inches) wide by 2.5 feet (30 inches) high. Approximate weight of a full size regular block is 2100 kg or 4200 lbs.

Interlocking Planter Block

Interlocking concrete lock blocks have become increasingly popular over the years and we wanted to be able to provide our customers with a different option when finishing/capping their retaining walls. Our planter blocks are no different than our standard lock block; however, they are outfitted with two large knockouts and weeping holes on either side of the lifting eye. These blocks are capable of holding a half yard of soil making them a great option for bringing a little more greenery to your project.

We look forward to helping you with your next project!
